Weekend: If you did not complete your EOG review,"Silk's Superpowers", for the week please complete it over the weekend. You can find it on your Google Drive in Grade 6 released. If you did not take an answer packet please use notebook paper. We will grade it on Monday.

Monday (4/20)

• RL Check tomorrow. Finish your reading(You may record poems and theme PowerPoint.) and get a parent signature.
• Read "Abandoned Farmhouse" by Ted Koozer and "Deserted Farm" by Mark Vinz. Use your close reading strategy and read three times. We will work with these in class tomorrow. (Shared on Google: Poetry 2015 Folder)
• Review Theme/Central Idea Power Point (Shared on Google: Poetry 2015 Folder)

• Bring two books, each with a page marked, that could be used to create a found poem. "The right details tell a story."
• Read Poetry and print a poem you enjoy. Bring it in on Thursday.

• Study Challenge 1 & 2 words.

• Bring a copy of a poem that you have read and enjoy. (From Tuesday's assignment)

• Finish draft of "found poem"(Started in class today.)

• Finish Found Poem and book page artwork.
